This is a nice quality rug, just not what I was looking for. Next to nearby rugs that have more depth of color and pattern, this rug’s color ended up looking rather flat and kind of dull, so back it goes! This rug was good quality and very soft under foot. It just had a “stripier” appearance in person than in the pictures, so I did return it. Ghostly geometry. This area rug’s illusory diamond motif is shaped by the beige space between triangular borders, which themselves dissolve into a series of slender black stripes. It’s power-loomed from durable synthetic fibers, with a lush shag pile + fringed edges for tangible texture underfoot.
This is great value for the price. It is a nice creamy off white and charcoal color. The charcoal is NOT blue or purple undertone. It looks great next to my dark brown couch and cream chairs. The shag is not too high. And the tassels are my favourite part. It looks like it has a bold pattern but it’s a bit more subtle in real since the grey lines are not solid lines.
