I bought this rug for my dining room and it was too small. When I unwrapped it- it was well wrapped- it turned out to not be a white as I thought it would be- not as high contrast as it looks in pictures. What I particularly love is the timeless earthy tones. It complements well with any modern decor. While shedding is common with handmade wool rugs, I find that it does lessen over time. Admittedly, there are some initial lint that tended to get on clothes, but regular vacuuming (frequent in the beginning) at a low setting helps alleviate this issue. Overall, I highly recommend..
