This rug is gorgeous and of very substantial quality. It is a definite upgrade to the rug that I had in my hallway. It feels substantial under my feet. The pile is thick and the color is beautiful. So far so good! The quality of the rug is good, no shedding, fairly soft underfoot, I bought a rug pad but not sure if it will be necessary. I really like the look, not solid but still patterned.
