I echo a lot of the other reviews: A nice, dense pile and the color can look olive or brown under different lighting. The streaks in the olive parts are a little more pronounced than expected but it doesn't detract from the overall look. This jute rug is a bit rougher than others I have had. Possibly the weave is not as tight or thick. I also think I was sent a smaller size. Was planning on using under dining table, but have to repurpose to entry way or small reading nook. The colors of the jute rug are nice! Not too yellow.
