This modern area rug is inspired by the nomads of Iran's Zagros Mountains, who originally wove Gabbeh rugs to keep warm on cold winter nights. Hand-knotted from a blend of wool and cotton, this brown neutral features subtle color variations and geometric motifs that add a touch of bohemian allure to your space. Its sumptuous pile is especially inviting in bedrooms, where you can pamper your bare feet. We recommend pairing this rug with a rug pad to keep it in place and help it lay flat.

Absolutely perfect. Excellent size well packaged. I was able to move it and unload it and unroll it all by myself, and it was very well made and very heavy. It’s flattening out nicely. It has no weird smell. Yes it’s shedding but it’s supposed to for one year it’s wool and well made. The price point was unbeatable. This size rug usually sells for a lot more. I am a particular fan of this brand. I have quite a few of their other rugs, so I knew that I was going to get quality. Very pleased don’t be discouraged because it sheds it only sheds when you’re sweeping. Do be aware if you have kids and you want to get down on the floor with them it is wool. It’s not soft, fluffy.. I’ve only had the rug for 5 days and so far I’m in love . It vacuums easy but as wool does sheds a bit, not crazy. Nice runner. Would have gotten 5 stars if not for the occasional dark thread that didn't belong in the ivory rug. They looked like dirt spots. I was able to remove 8 of them but 6 of these dark threads are fighting removal and I think will have to stay in the runner. Not too noticeable after working them into the nap, but the runner would have been better without them.. Robert. Atascadero, CA. Thu Jan 23 2025
