The rug is very thick and looks high quality. This pic is immediately after unrolling it so I have a heavy cutting board on the edge to help flatten the edge. After a few days it lays perfectly flat. My husband even made the comment that it was a nice rug. My dog got some mud on it and I had to spot clean it. Like the other reviews said... it does shed. Besides that I love the modern look!!. The rug has a great texture and feels like its a high quality product. Good thickness as well. If you have pets I would not recommend one of the darker colors because you can see any tiny spec and especially hair. This likely is less visible with the warmer tone rugs.. Go bananas. Woven in India from luminous banana silk, this area rug dresses up your floors with luxe texture + subtly iridescent sky blue color. The high pile height adds copious cushioning, but we suggest that you reserve it for lower-traffic rooms. Add a rug pad to hold it in place.
