Black Cotton 5' x 8' Rugs

Oval 6' x 8'

The rug is unique and soft, the edges are a bit shiny and the center is more of warm cream color, give it interesting contrast. It's also pretty soft, not incredibly thick, but enough that I'd be able to sit on the rug comfortably. So many rugs now are very thin, and we wanted something that both felt nice to walk on but was thick enough to sit on as well. The one thing to look out for is that the size is not truly 5' x 8', my guess is due to the oval shape the sizing they gave was just an approximation off a standard rectangular rug. I had to return because it was too small for my space, but i will be re-ordering a size up as that will fit perfectly.. Dorothy. Boston, MA. Fri Nov 21 2025

A retro foundation. Inspired by mid-century modern design, this area rug showcases a geometric pattern in ivory, black, and brown. It’s hand-tufted from wool, cotton, and latex, with a medium pile height that delivers the right mix of cushion and durability.

Absolutely perfect. Excellent size well packaged. I was able to move it and unload it and unroll it all by myself, and it was very well made and very heavy. It’s flattening out nicely. It has no weird smell. Yes it’s shedding but it’s supposed to for one year it’s wool and well made. The price point was unbeatable. This size rug usually sells for a lot more. I am a particular fan of this brand. I have quite a few of their other rugs, so I knew that I was going to get quality. Very pleased don’t be discouraged because it sheds it only sheds when you’re sweeping. Do be aware if you have kids and you want to get down on the floor with them it is wool. It’s not soft, fluffy.. Beautiful and it’s perfect for my needs! The base color is an off white, more of a soft antique white, not a harsh white. Texture is lovely, modernist but earthy at the same time.
