It has no weird smell. Yes it’s shedding but it’s supposed to for one year it’s wool and well made. The price point was unbeatable. This size rug usually sells for a lot more. I am a particular fan of this brand. I have quite a few of their other rugs, so I knew that I was going to get quality. Very pleased don’t be discouraged because it sheds it only sheds when you’re sweeping. Do be aware if you have kids and you want to get down on the floor with them it is wool. It’s not soft, fluffy.. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a gorgeous rug, perfect for my entry way. It is great quality and well made. I’ve had to spot clean it thanks to my furry friends and it has handled the cleaning just fine. It’s a nice rectangular shape, perfect for in front of my door. I would consider this a medium weight rug, that was nicely woven. My dogs love laying on it. In my opinion the only thing to be aware of is that on vinyl plank, wood, tile, or any “slick” surface you would want to put something anti slip under it for safety, but that is true of any rug.. Deenah. Tue Jun 09 2026
