The burnt orange color is so lovely and the slight southwest/geometric detail around the edges is interesting, not too much. Lots of people complain about the rug's shedding challenges, but HELLO, the rug is 100% wool! It sheds, peeps! Duh! If you want wool--and I DO want the natural fiber--shed happens! I use my beater mode on my vacuum to help lift the shed, and gradually there is less and less shed. The rug is holding up beautifully--it feels lush and cushy underfoot, the grands love doing yoga on it, or reading or wrestling around. It looks lush in our living room (and we have a runner too in our entryway). Additionally, we have the Blue Danette in our bedrooms and dining room. This rug is beautiful and soft. I like that it’s not pure white it’s sort of a mix of cream and light greys with the black. It’s light but seems like it will hide any stains ok haha. The tassels are a bit longer than I thought but they look nice. I like it even more in person that the pictures. I looked at other rugs in this price range and they were synthetic or the colors looked cheap. This rug is wool and the colors look classy. I appreciate whoever crafted this rug, it is beautiful and well made. It also “transitions” well from the middle eastern styled rug in the hallway which was also a factor for me.
