The burnt orange color is so lovely and the slight southwest/geometric detail around the edges is interesting, not too much. Lots of people complain about the rug's shedding challenges, but HELLO, the rug is 100% wool! It sheds, peeps! Duh! If you want wool--and I DO want the natural fiber--shed happens! I use my beater mode on my vacuum to help lift the shed, and gradually there is less and less shed. The rug is holding up beautifully--it feels lush and cushy underfoot, the grands love doing yoga on it, or reading or wrestling around. It looks lush in our living room (and we have a runner too in our entryway). Additionally, we have the Blue Danette in our bedrooms and dining room. Love this rug, looks more expensive than it was. It needs to relax a bit after being rolled tight for shipping, but after 10 minutes it’s laying flat. Slight smell but that is to be expected. Soft but you can feel the ribbing of the rug base on your feet. Not black/white/gray as the pictures and details depict, the gray shape areas are actually a brown and green.
