This rug is gorgeous and was the perfect accent to bring this room together. The green is muted and not jarring at all - it’s soft and elegant. Brings a sophisticated mid century modern vibe to my living room. The rug is plush without being shag, though it is deep. My Dyson runs on it with a little more effort than usual, but does not shut down like it does on true shag rugs. No shedding, no offgassing, no loose threads. I did have an issue with one corner during shipping where the packaging ripped and exposed the rug, but that was remedied by AllModerns customer service, and hidden under the couch..
