I echo a lot of the other reviews: A nice, dense pile and the color can look olive or brown under different lighting. The streaks in the olive parts are a little more pronounced than expected but it doesn't detract from the overall look. This jute rug is a bit rougher than others I have had. Possibly the weave is not as tight or thick. I also think I was sent a smaller size.
