I'm quite pleased with this rug. It does effortlessly enhances the aesthetic of my living room while tying cohesively well with my other various decor styles. Crafted from a blend of traditional wool and jute backing, it does offer a soft touch while maintaining durability - holds up pretty well in high traffic area. What I particularly love is the timeless earthy tones. It complements well with any modern decor. While shedding is common with handmade wool rugs, I find that it does lessen over time. Admittedly, there are some initial lint that tended to get on clothes, but regular vacuuming (frequent in the beginning) at a low setting helps alleviate this issue. Overall, I highly recommend.. This jute rug is a bit rougher than others I have had. Possibly the weave is not as tight or thick. I also think I was sent a smaller size. Was planning on using under dining table, but have to repurpose to entry way or small reading nook. The colors of the jute rug are nice! Not too yellow.
