Crafted from a blend of traditional wool and jute backing, it does offer a soft touch while maintaining durability - holds up pretty well in high traffic area. What I particularly love is the timeless earthy tones. It complements well with any modern decor. While shedding is common with handmade wool rugs, I find that it does lessen over time. Admittedly, there are some initial lint that tended to get on clothes, but regular vacuuming (frequent in the beginning) at a low setting helps alleviate this issue. Overall, I highly recommend.. This rug is really beautiful and has a lovely greige color thats very neutral, making it easy to match with various decor styles. Its thick and laid flat right away without any issues. Ive had it for a few weeks now, and while I really like it, it’s still shedding quite a bit. Im very happy with this rug. I needed a rug to cover an electrical cord for our recliner. This rug is perfect. Its a thicker rug, so it covers the cord and you cant feel it when you walk over the rug. It also doesnt slide around very much, even though it doesnt have a rubber backing. Oval 3' x 5'

The rug is unique and soft, the edges are a bit shiny and the center is more of warm cream color, give it interesting contrast. It's also pretty soft, not incredibly thick, but enough that I'd be able to sit on the rug comfortably. So many rugs now are very thin, and we wanted something that both felt nice to walk on but was thick enough to sit on as well. The one thing to look out for is that the size is not truly 5' x 8', my guess is due to the oval shape the sizing they gave was just an approximation off a standard rectangular rug.
