We love this rug! It arrived quickly, rolled out smooth and added the perfect touch of boho style I was looking to add to our living room. As others have stated, yes it is very thin but that was exactly what I was looking for. The colors are perfectly muted and adds to that “vintage” vibe. The yellow lines other reviewers have mentioned are not as prominent on the rug we received. As you can see, our cats are loving it! My boyfriend already spilled water on the rug, and one of the cats spit up on it (all within 72 hours of it arriving ... sigh) but I am pleased to say I was able to clean up both accidents with no staining. The material is super soft underfoot- we don’t have a rug mat underneath ours, but if you want it to feel plush I highly recommend one. I love it as is and am extremely happy with my purchase! The taupe gray hue is rich and sophisticated, and the subtle sheen gives it a luxe feel. The clean geometric borders and purposeful distressing lend visual interest and character. The medium pile is soft underfoot yet durable for high traffic areas. It was easy to lay flat and stays put with a rug pad. A high quality rug with timeless style - I'm extremely satisfied. This rug has a 0.86'' pile height, so it's high enough that it adds plenty of cushioning underfoot. Plus, it's easy to care for – just vacuum it without a beater bar.
I am happy with this purchase. The quality is higher than expected and it is still plush. Others in comments noticed excessive fabric coming out but I haven’t. Seems normal. I have another woolen rug of similar quality not bought here and it’s similar in wear and tear. The colors are much more muted than the photos online suggest, but users images seem quite accurate for color. This rug is beautiful. High quality. It is as described in description. Light gray with a shiny silver look. It shows traffic marks but I don’t mind it. I love this rug. The only downfall is my carpet cleaners told me that to never spill on this rug or use and kind of cleaner or water on it as it’s 100 viscosesilk and it will stain really easily. That maybe dry cleaners will be able to clean it. So that sucks as this is in our living room. Ivory is a little darker than expected from the photos but so beautiful I chose not to return it even though we have a dog and a mostly white rug is maybe not the wisest decision. Does color shift depending on which way you look at it, a little more brown from one angle and black/grey from the other. Going to tie our living room together perfectly as we get settled. Thinner than expected as well, buyer beware if you are wanting a plush feel, you will need a rug pad. I'm personally fine with the thin.
