Roll out comfort. This hand-tufted rug is crafted from wool, showing off a mottled and faintly striped pattern with a beige, ivory, and gray color scheme. Love this rug! It took us a long time to find a rug that fit our style, was made well, and was the correct size for our cozy fireplace room. We needed something that would be comfortable yet hold up to any spills that may occur. We have definitely found it with this rug! It came rather quickly and was easy to unroll. We placed heavy books on the edges that had a slight curl from delivery packaging and within a few days the edges relaxed. Works wonderfully with the thicker rug pad.. Melissa. Honestly, I’m one of the pickiest people when it comes to home decor. This was the third rug I ordered. It is so perfect. Beautiful and soft and really well made. Tie a room together. Hand-loomed in India from durable wool, this area rug showcases a rich light beige hue and dimensional tufting in an understated striped pattern. Its thick pile height adds soft cushioning to your floors; we suggest pairing it with a rug pad for stability.
Pros: Looks great and has already proven to clean up pretty well (small dirt stains came out pretty easily). The stripes have a small bit of variation that makes it look more interesting/expensive. Even though it's no thicker than our old 100% poly rug it feels much more plush and cushioned. The cream color is great and goes with a range of styles. Cons: It sheds a lot. Be prepared to vacuum often. I expect this to settle over time but after a month it's still producing a good bit of lint. Though it's plush, it's not the softest material. Great rug at such an affordable price on sale (9x12 for $435). The 'white/beige' in the rug is definitely yellow-creamy - the color of real mayo or frozen breastmilk :). There are also a tiny bit of taupes in the rug too. It really works with a modern decor. I would NOT call this rug "beige" like it says in the title. It’s a very beautiful rug, thick and feels substantial, but it sheds like crazy. I got the rug about a week ago and every time I vacuumed, I found my vacuum filled to the brim w this foamy grey shedding. So I will vacuum very often to keep it look pristine.. Beatrice.
