This rug is gorgeous and was the perfect accent to bring this room together. The green is muted and not jarring at all - it’s soft and elegant. Brings a sophisticated mid century modern vibe to my living room. The rug is plush without being shag, though it is deep. My Dyson runs on it with a little more effort than usual, but does not shut down like it does on true shag rugs. No shedding, no offgassing, no loose threads. I did have an issue with one corner during shipping where the packaging ripped and exposed the rug, but that was remedied by AllModerns customer service, and hidden under the couch.. I love the color and pattern of this rug. It looks much more luxe vibrant in person. The only gripe I have, and I really can’t complain given the price of this rug, is that it’s very very very thin and flimsy. Bc of the way it’s constructed, the backing feels hard to the touch and stiff. The rug pile is very low so that plus the texture of the backing hard like a stale tostada. To soften things, use a plush rug pad. This would look great as hall runners, living or bedroom. Actually any room if this is your style. I’m pleased but I also got this on sale for my son’s bedroom. I might feel differently if I paid full price. I also got a small doormat sized one for our kitchen sliding door. Looks great there too. If they could remedy the stiffness to this, I wouldn’t mind paying a bit more for that. Another bonus is the tone is quite bright and fresh. Not at all a deep burgundy or deep red.. Karen.
