Super soft, easy to vacuum. It fits my space perfectly! I haven’t had any shedding. There was a bit of a chemical smell, but it was gone very quickly. You will probably want a rug pad as the backing isn’t very thick.

This rug is gorgeous and was the perfect accent to bring this room together. The green is muted and not jarring at all - it’s soft and elegant. Brings a sophisticated mid century modern vibe to my living room. The rug is plush without being shag, though it is deep. My Dyson runs on it with a little more effort than usual, but does not shut down like it does on true shag rugs. No shedding, no offgassing, no loose threads. I did have an issue with one corner during shipping where the packaging ripped and exposed the rug, but that was remedied by AllModerns customer service, and hidden under the couch.
