This rug is absolutely gorgeous, and our initial reaction was delight when we placed it in our lounge. After two weeks, we needed to vacuum, and immediately I noticed that we had several "pulls" in the rug. There were three places where the thread in the rug just got unravelled a tiny bit. My partner wanted us to take more time, because it might happen with any rug, but now four months in, we have several more spots where the rug has gotten pulled, despite setting the vacuum so that the brush barely touches the rug. I'm very frustrated that the most expensive item we purchased when we bought our house has been such poor quality. Care tips suggest vacuuming the rug often and even vacuuming both sides. I'd be surprised if we even had a rug left had we tried that. Regardless, it is a beautiful rug, and we are both pretty torn about the whole situation. If you're looking to put a rug down that you will ever walk on (even just a little bit, as we do), I do not recommend this one.
