This rug is not only beautiful but is sturdy and quite comfortable underfoot with the recommended rug pad. After unrolling it and placement, it was lying flat by the next day. It has the look of kind of an open weft and weave but it is in fact durable… much to my surprise when my kitties had to try their claws out on it (of course cuz it’s new) not a yarn was pulled up on it! So far so good. For the price, it’s a nice rug. Opened and edges lay flat pretty quickly. Nice backing. Shedding a little. 5’ x 8’ dimensions were accurate. Good rug for pets - won’t show dirt or fur easily. Delivery was an issue. Arrived 5 days after it was supposed to (for a while they couldn’t find it in the warehouse and looked like maybe it wouldn’t arrive at all) and the bag it was shipped in was quite dirty.. Teresita.
