changing my review after a few years - I just finally got rid of this rug thank god. It sheds nonstop - an entire Dyson full every vacuum for 3+ years. The tan parts pull easily and pieces of the rug were always coming out. NOT cat friendly.

The rug itself is beautiful and comfortable enough that you only need a standard non slip rug pad. I love the colors, it looks perfect in our condo and it’s actually very comfortable to walk and sit on!! Plus, our dog loves it! The only issue I have is the ungodly amount of shedding. If you sit on it you will have carpet fibers all over you. I have the cordless Dyson V8 Animal vacuums and it gets filled up after one pass on the entire carpet. I’ve vacuumed it almost everyday and have only now started to see the shedding decrease after a month.

It’s absolutely gorgeous!! The rug is super soft and fluffy. There are different yarns and texture. The colors are beautiful! I cannot emphasize enough how much I’m in love with it! It’s at third of the cost I usually spend and the quality is the same.
