Brigette Romanek Madi Area Rug

The Madi Collection is a colorful area rug by Brigette Romanek x Loloi featuring abstract designs in a rich palette of dusky blue, natural clay, earthy green, and muted gold. The varied, figurative designs are outlined with a raised wool pile for even more depth to sink into. Madi is hand-tufted in India and GoodWeave-certified, ensuring our commitment to ethical production and the support of weavers communities. Some shedding is expected and a natural characteristic of wool rugs; we recommend vacuuming frequently without a beater bar.

Absolutely beautiful. I was a little nervous about this bold pattern, but it is even better in person. All the colours are marled, with threads of cream, beige, and taupe through each one. It's wonderful in the space. The rug feels soft(ish) and the texture is enjoyable in bare feet. The folds did take a few days to relax fully.. Anonymous. Mon Jul 13 2026

Beautiful rug, looks just like the picture. No need for a rug pad as it’s a nice pile height.. Anonymous. Sun Jun 07 2026

The rug is unique and soft, the edges are a bit shiny and the center is more of warm cream color, give it interesting contrast. It's also pretty soft, not incredibly thick, but enough that I'd be able to sit on the rug comfortably. So many rugs now are very thin, and we wanted something that both felt nice to walk on but was thick enough to sit on as well. The one thing to look out for is that the size is not truly 5' x 8', my guess is due to the oval shape the sizing they gave was just an approximation off a standard rectangular rug. I had to return because it was too small for my space, but i will be re-ordering a size up as that will fit perfectly.. Dorothy. Boston, MA. Fri Nov 21 2025
