Xola Multi Hand-Tufted Geometric Wool Rug

Beautiful rug, but it reeked of chemicals. I aired it out for 3 days outside before rolling it out indoors, but it still smelled of strong chemicals. I tried to air it out for 3 more days indoors, with open windows and fans, but the smell was bad to the point of health hazard. Ultimately decided to return. Bummer.

We have a pair of these in the two bedrooms of our weekend place -- cheerful and bright with a modern flair. Being all wool small spills can be blotted or washed easily.

Beautiful rug. Vibrant colors. Extremely well crafted. So pleased with purchase.

We ordered this rug for our baby's nursery, and it arrived smelling strongly of burnt materials and chemicals. Although we tried to air it out, the odor never improved. Because we were in the middle of completing home improvements in advance of our son's birth when the rug was delivered, we missed the 30-day return window, and AllModern would not offer any kind of refund, credit, or reimbursement for the professional cleaning that is required to make this very expensive rug safe to keep in a nursery, or any room. I don't think it will be possible for us to donate or sell this rug without eating the cost of professional cleaning, because the smell really is that awful. Very disappointed

This came quick and is exactly as advertised and the colors are perfect. I love how it feels underfoot and my dog frequently naps on it. Highly recommend!
