Unlike the other reviews, I don't think that this rug isn't soft at all. It feels like a standard wool rug and is fine under bare foot. The colors are amazing and it looks beautiful in the room. There are a few defects in the rug I was sent (all minor but still worth noting....) and the rug was 3 inches smaller in width (7 ft. 9 in. rather than 8 ft.) than advertised.

I love it! Its not very soft but I didn’t expect it to be. I wish it came in more size options but I selected the best size I could.

Nice rug! Shipped relatively quickly (about a week?) and arrived in good condition. I like the colors and how they compliment the room, feels like a quality rug that’s going to last. Bigger than I thought it would be too! My only small gripe is that it’s a little less soft than I thought it might be based on the pile height (it occasionally feels almost a tad prickly underfoot?) But overall that’s just the risk you run when you order a rug online, and it really is still comfortable. Also easier to keep clean. I also haven’t found it to slide around too much and I don’t have a pad underneath (on linoleum floors).
