It's ok...we paired it with the Bottorff 0.33" rug pad and it's soft. It will be in a teen boy's room so I am concerned with quality after more than a couple warp threads were poking out. In terms of color, it's difficult to say if it's black or dark navy blue. We're satisfied with the color combination and design. For the price I think it is a fair deal. Time will tell on durability.
