Looks just like the picture and works great, no setup required. Red color is more of a rust color than a cherry red. Light is not super bright. Works great for mood lighting but I wouldn’t use as a desk lamp.

I love this little lamp. Sitting on a desk, though, it only offers a small amount of light even on the brightest setting. However, elevated on a shelf above the desk it illuminates the area enough to be useful as another light source. The middle three photos show the light on highmediumlow. The last photo shows how the top of the lamp can pivot, a feature I didn’t realize before I purchased the lamp. I knocked off a star because I would prefer the light to be brighter.

Cutest little lamp! I chose to keep it plugged in as to not have to charge it but love that it can be freestanding in the middle of a table if needed. My friend got the white and black and I really love the green the most.
