And since teak is a naturally resilient wood, this set is ready to stand up to weather and water. The whole set has a cohesive look, with pared down silhouettes, angled legs, and squared off edges for a nod to retro Scandinavian design. Included seat and back cushions with foam filling and resilient polyester covers add some extra cushioning.
I just received this set, and have it all put together except for the sofa, which I will do later today. The wood is nice and the set well-designed. It seems fairly sturdy and the chairs comfortable. I am taking off one star only because 1) one or two of the pieces have noticable cracks in the wood. I worry that that will not turn out well in the future, and 2) while assembly is fairly easy, the tool provided is very hard to use and very uncomfortable on the hands. Build and quality seem good so far however the metal frame is a dark grey and not black. I did not read the description closely enough and missed the color info. Due to the contrast of the pictures provided it looks more black. Those looking for black should be aware. When assembling, I suggest bolting the middle bolt near the pivot point after installing the top bolt to get more leverage to align the front bolt to hole in the leg.
