Beautiful solid teak table. Comes in one very large box. Easy to put on the legs. Very sturdy. Will comfortably seat at least six people. I will be oiling the table, as the wood seems a bit dry, and using a cover to protect it from the elements. You can choose to leave uncovered and it will weather to a silvery gray instead. Excellent design, looks and functions great. Very convenient - relatively small in "collapsed" state and pretty large when expanded. Extension works flawlessly. Kind of contemporary without any compromises for functionality. Overall pretty good table. On a negative side (minus one star) it's crazy expensive and one plank in the extension leaf had some red stains upon arrival. AllModern took great care of the situation with the stain blemish.. Teak will work due to the weather conditions. Think of cracks and hairline cracks and getting your own, silver-gray color. All this makes the wood tough to look at. Teak is a durable, greasy wood that is very suitable for outdoor use. It is best to bring your garden furniture inside in winter. However, if this is not possible, they can safely be left outside with their custom cover.
