Was a little challenging to put together: the plastic locking levers and washers kept popping off (which explains why it came with an entire bag of additional pieces); the steel extension rods needed a hammer to push it out to extend. The surface has slight variations from piece to piece from the nature of the manufacturing process. That said, it’s visually appealing overall and a good price for its size and extendability. The table is fairly good quality, but if you're expecting "solid wood" to mean "real planks of solid teak", don't buy this, because that's NOT what this is. It appears to be what I'm hoping is at least very thin veneer of teak over some sort of wood composite. The rest of the table (i.e. the aluminum frame) seems quite sturdy, and it's quite weighty, so that's nice. If the planks were real solid teak, I'd give this 5 stars, but I feel a bit duped.. Gene. Bought because I liked the idea of a folding top table that I can move out of the elements on a balcony in the winter. However the table base is so heavy it will be a challenge for me to move. Well packed, again very heavy base, instructions missing a step in placing the weight inside the base top and I could not get 1 of the 3 base screws to catch. Basically have to put together upside down and I hate to keep mentioning the heavy base. Base cover had a couple of scrapes when received. I regret spending so much on a table.. Tammy.
