This table and chair set is perfect. I didn't want anything wood or metal for maintenance reasons. We have two leaves out of the table, yet it seats 8 comfortably. I agree with some other reviewers that the leaves don't fit together exactly perfectly, and that might be irksome to some people. Also, I would choose a color other than white - the white shows every scuff and dirt spot, which I should have anticipated. But we put a tablecloth over it on party nights, so that's not a real issue. The chairs that came with it are very comfortable, and we paired two Farrah "mesh" chairs in orange for a pop of color..
