These stools were easy to put together and seem very sturdy. The height worked well for me for our counter-height kitchen island. I did remove the plastic discs that were screwed into the bottom of each leg and replaced them with a soft pad that won't scratch our wood floors. They are not the most comfortable to sit on for long periods of time, but about what I would expect from a stool with this kind of woven seat.
