Verdeek must have figured out that they can shave cost by fabricating for you to assemble. We have Verdeeks at a few of our vacation rentals and luxe properties, but they are the older versions - fully welded together and not requiring assembly. We now go to Etsy to buy artisan Corten steel pieces. The Verdeek quality has plummeted.

Love these. Very attractive. Important to pre-rust them, which I did. There are rust stains on the balcony where they sat for just a day or so before we hung them up which isn't a problem for us since the floor is metal. It is great that they have the styrofoam inserts which insulates is a bit from both very hot and cold.

Love this planter! Came together easily and seems very secure. Looks great on my patio with my succulent garden. Seem like great quality and fairly straightforward to assemble, but very tricky to get the twelve internal bolts tightened with the Allen wrench supplied. Even a shorter Allen wrench was tough. Maybe the manufacturer needs to consider an easier-to-use option for connecting the sides. But overall the quality looks really good and I really like the internal shelf.. Robert. Vashon, WA.
