Block Series Window Box Planter

The shape was a bit crooked but it is being used for outdoors so not entirely a big issue.

They are difficult to install, difficult to line up and the holes on the brackets and Planters need to be torqued carefully or else the don't line up. I could only get 2 of the 3 aligned well with my best efforts and only half the retaining bolts fit.

Packed well and shipped fast. Great quality and built to handle any type of weather. It exceeded my expectations. Well done!

The Planter Box is exactly what I wanted. It has stamped feet so that the box is not completely sitting on the ground. Very nice design. I am still not ready to plant yet. But I have no doubt that whatever I plant in the box, they will look gorgeous.

Beautiful, lighter than expected, has drainage hole and ridged bottom so it’s slightly elevated off the ground. Didn’t use the brackets.

Just lovely! I got four of them and put them on my retaining wall in backyard as an accent piece. They are just the right width. Deep enough to hold a good amount of dirt to let the roots take hold and plants to flourish!

This is the ‘window box’ planter, not the ‘railing planter’. They don’t include photos that make the distinction obvious, but these two planters come with different brackets. Turns out I needed the railing planter. I contacted veradek and they’ll ‘sell’ the other bracket for $45 each. More helpful photos and description would have helped. It’s not worth rerunning them, so on the ground they go. Otherwise, same great quality and would have loved to give them 5 stars.

I purchased 2 of these and the large and small, tall square planters as well. They are great quality statement pieces! Exactly the modern look I wanted.

I've never spent this kind of money on a planter before, but I was dissatisfied with what I saw in local home stores and garden centers. I wanted a big, sturdy planter that I could move inside and outside with the seasons. This is very well made, with a heavier gauge steel that should not bow out. The paint is very thorough, with all faces covered. To keep it lighter, I used the styrofoam packing material, broken up, as a drainage layer on the bottom. If you fill it with regular potting soil, it will probably be over 100 pounds. I also mixed a lot of perlite with the soil to keep it lighter and improve drainage for the succulents I was putting in. It comes with 3 steel brackets, and there are fittings in the bottom for the screws. I didn't use them, and sprayed Flex-seal on them so water won't leak through. It is in a carpeted room, so I don't want leakage. There are also two drainage holes with plugs that you can remove, which I will do when I use it outdoors. I like the clean look.

Very nice product. I have quite a few of the Veradeck planters. Only problem was the missing label which I still haven't received the replacement for.
