The ceramic pot is fine. But the wood base (walnut) is very unevenly stained an almost purple color. It looks more like a middle school shop project than something you choose to buy from a store.

Nice quality planter! There were no instructions so at first I was confused as to how it is put together, but when I looked at the photo again online I figured it out quickly. The planter was packaged well. The wooden stand is darker in color than the photos let on, but it still looks good. Perfect for my new faux snake plant!

While $259 is definitely a lot to pay for a planter pot and stand, I have seen smaller ones in local stores for half that price, so ALLMODERN'S offering seems somewhat reasonable. I purchased the 20" high dark teak stand with a black ceramic pot, 13 1/2 " high by 13 1/2 " in diameter. It is a high quality item with a sturdy base and an attractive matte-finish pot. I do recommend this investment for a very attractive design accenting with plants. (The description online is lacking in the dimensions for the larger ceramic pots which should be important information for the consumer. I hope ALLMODERN can make this correction.). Julie.
