Folding Deck Chair

I bought two of these to replace some deck chairs that I had custom made slings for. Luckily, my slings fit perfectly, however the square dowels that come with these chairs slip through. So I ended up using my round dowels from my old chairs in order for the slings to stay in place- now the chair functions properly. The construction of these should be amended to use round dowels so that they slings don’t slip out. I’ve had no other problems and they look great.

1. Boxes arrived open and broken. Literally open from the top. 2. The wood from the chair is stained with something that rubs off onto the white part and onto you. The wood is not sealed and gets water damage very easily 3. The bar that secures the cloth to the chair is too thin and pops out and you can fall onto the ground 4. I emailed All Modern twice with no response, so I tried chatting with them. The chat tool doesn't work- the typing bar doesn't pop up sometimes. So the agent leaves the chat and the new agent doesn't read all your messages so you explain yourself 1000 times! First they offer a direct refund, then they say to return them. The boxes came demolished so I don't know how I will manage to send this back! I am still trying to settle this and it's a nightmare. Run from this company.

Comfortable and good quality, easy to store.

Very easy to assemble (the cloth sling is held in place with two wood dowels) and it's very comfortable, if not a little tricky to get in and out of. My only complaint is that the wood is rough and splintered in spots and requires hand sanding.

I love these darling little chairs. They are my go to for my deck on the river! They are so comfortable that it’s hard for me to put my book down when sitting in them. With three adjustable slots you can find your comfy spot!

I ordered 2 chairs in the gray. They arrived in great shape. I love the way they look. I like the material the seat was made with-cotton poly blend which will withstand humidity. So far very pleased!
