I purchased 2 of these in March 2021. Due to the pandemic restrictions in our area, they sat for several months while we waited to be allowed to have someone come into the house to install them. I did not notice until they were installed that the shades are plastic! At the time the website description did not indicate that the shades are plastic (I see that the description now does list the shade material as plastic). Had I known, I would not have bought them.
