Top is fairly thin, and is MDF, not plastic. Sticker says it shouldn't be in direct sunlight, which seems silly for an outdoor table.

The price makes more sense when you see it in person. It’s heavy duty and well constructed. It will not blow around. Wipes clean with water. If your like me and do not like metal tables then this one is the answer.

Great little table for a corner of my 1st floor deck. Easy to assemble for this 72 yr old woman, except that one of the screws wouldn’t hold. It may have been stripped or mis-engineered. But I think the 2 other screws on that piece of the base might suffice. The base is perfectly heavy for stability. And the matching chairs are actually comfortable without any cushions.
