Sturdy wood base, seat curves up so for a bigger person a little tight fit. Skinny people no problem. Really look at the instructions cause very easy to make a mistake and start over. Good height for counter depth.

We liked these chairs. Assembly took longer than expected because the instructions were pictorial only (no words) and sometimes hard to interpret.

Weirdly proportioned and cheap looking seat.

These chairs are not only attractive, but are surprisingly sturdy. Very pleased with this purchase!

Really love these bar stools. The wood is great quality. Love the simple lines and it's great for kids since the white plastic chairs are easy to wipe down. It took me less than 30 minutes to assemble each chair. Instructions could use some improvement as the clues of which leg goes where are really subtle and easily missed.
