They look great with a modern design. We installed them over the peninsula in the kitchen and had to spray paint the inside of the cone white as others did because the gold did not work with our design. It was a struggle to get the cord to stay even somewhat straight. They are a stamp piece of metal making them very light and feel a bit cheap, but no one is touching them so they work great for us!. This pendant light was very easy to install and lightweight. This does not come with a light bulb but they were super easy to find small and use less energy than the light fixture I had installed prior so this was a huge plus. The ambient lighting is perfect for over the sink. The only thing I didn’t love was the wire is covered with a black fabric as opposed to what I originally thought was black metal.
