Nice light! Matte white finish and the shade has wavy texture to it. Throws light up (brightens our space) and down (reading). Was worried bc its on the short side for a flor lamp, but looks fine with our high ceilings. You screw the base together and not every joint lines up perfectly, but for the price, it’s something i easily overlook. Love this mid-mod lamp! Nice height for next to a chair. It’s not super tall if that’s what you’re looking for. It has a knob to turn on the down light, up light and then both together. It has a premium brushed finished, easy to assemble, heavy stone base. The best feature is the dimmable switch easily reachable from the couch or a chair. My only complaint is that the cord is black instead of clear. The cord is of higher quality than most electric cords, though (wrapped in a fabricy material).
