The lights are beautiful. They have a chrome backplate, a look of mahogany wood ball (it feels like real wood) and the glass dome. The glass shade is completely enclosed. The screws to attach the backplate to the wall are in the sides, so it can be tricky if you are in a tight spot.. Jill. Athens, GA. Sun Nov 03 2024

Oil Rubbed Bronze

This sconce blends pared-back lines inspired by vintage industrial fixtures with the soft curves of its arched arm, circular backplate, and dome-shaped shade. It’s built from stainless steel in a neutral finish and includes a cover for the cord that you simply plug in – no electrician required.

I would give this product 5 stars except the 12” length of the matching metal cord cover leaves a lot of the cord exposed. This is not clear from the picture of the product. It looks odd with only 12” of the cord covered. The sconce is great but the cord cover needs to be longer or have the option to add more coverage. Otherwise the quality and look of this sconce is excellent value for the price.. Sandra. Philadelphia, PA. Sun Mar 10 2024

Whimsical for the win. A playful take on modern design, Whit features a sweeping black metal tube draped over aged brass or polished nickel accents. The uneven lines create visual interest and allow light to shine at slightly different heights. Choose from a pendant, chandelier, linear, floor lamp or wall sconce that can be mounted to provide either uplight or downlight.

This is a very sculpturesque fixture that makes a statement in our ambient powder room. We love it! Reasonable quality, looks exactly like shown on the photos.. Norbert. Santa Rosa Beach, FL. Fri Jul 28 2023

Mixed materials and minimalist designs give this 1-light armed sconce a bold modern look. Crafted from metal, it features a square backplate with a mirrored panel, a sleek, slim arm, and a goblet-shaped dome shade. The shade is spun from plated smoked glass, creating a bold look that both reflects and diffuses light. Renovate your main bedroom or guest room with this modern sleek 1-light wall sconce. It showcases a round backplate, a rounded spike and a cone shape lampshade with a streamlined profile. The Overton 1 wall sconce by AllModern features a classic gooseneck design with a black finish and black drum shaped fabric shade. The two in one design of this wall sconce allows you to install it as a plug in so you can move it easily or hardwire in place for a long lasting look.

This sconce is really elegant and well priced. I love that the switch is positioned in a hidden but convenient spot, and the swing arm is smooth. The whole thing feels sturdy and looks great and lights up my reading corner. I will say that installing is sort of annoying, since you need the wall screws to be VERY close to the wall so the weight of the arm doesn’t shift the whole light. The included wall anchors are also pretty bad - I used my own. If you use the included ones you need a 3/16 drill bit for the anchors, wish the directions said that.. Sara. Mishawaka, IN. Thu Dec 21 2023

Aged Brass

A mid-century icon gets a textured update. Crafted from metal, this 1-light armed sconce features a circular backplate and a curving arm that widens near the shade for an airy retro look. A band of matching metal wraps around the bottom of the shade for contrast. And since it's rated for damp areas, this fixture can withstand indirect moisture, like steam.

This dimmable sconce nestles a mid-century-style globe shade into a hemispherical steel cap, for an updated look that evokes a half moon. It’s crafted from frosted glass that’s evenly illuminated by an included LED bulb. Install it facing down for task lighting, or up for a more ambient glow.

The lights look great and we love them, however, there are a few things that aren’t visible in the stock photos I’ll point out that. First, they have a bit of a textured finish to them which you can’t really discern in the photos. It’s not bad, but unfortunately it doesn’t match the other fixtures in the bathroom that we have them in. Secondly, there are some white ‘bumpers’ to protect the glass globe sandwiched between the globe and the metal housing. They don’t bother me but my wife notices them and wishes they were more concealed. They are very stylish and unique though, we love the look of them!. Graham. Kalispell, MT. Tue Jan 25 2022

This wall sconce delivers a pared-down take on a mid-century icon, so you can brighten up your home and add a retro vibe all at the same time. The base of this fixture is made from metal with a bright brass finish and has a circular backplate with a clean, right-angled arm. A clear glass globe shade sits at the end of the arm, helping to catch the light of the 60W bulb (not included). This light is compatible with dimmer switches, so you have control over just how bright it gets.

This double-light wall sconce pairs two of our favorite mid-century-inspired trends in lighting: Oversized globe shades, and industrial-style pipe arms. This sconce has a circular backplate that supports its L-shaped arm, and is plated in a black and nickel finish. There are two frosted globe shades at the end of each arm, giving this piece an iconic mid-century silhouette we're all about. Great sconce! It came fast and was packed well. I like that it’s dimmable. It’s very modern but can fit it with other decor, specially the goldbrass. It’s a nice alternative to the hard wire and the wire is not that noticeable. Rachel. Columbia, SC. Sun Dec 17 2023

Add character and warmth to your home with the distinct allure of the Cella Wall Sconce!

Great sconce! It was easy to install and has both a hardwire and plug in option which is great. I think the 300 price point is a little high. I needed to rotate the sconce to install it the correct way but other than that love the look. Just think it’s expensive for the quality.. Anonymous. Mon Nov 17 2025

Aged Brass

Simple silhouettes + Bright materials. Crafted from metal, this 1-light armed sconce features a circular backplate and a curving arm that widens near the shade for an airy retro look. A bright metallic finish covers the fixture, enhancing its shine. The cone shade is crafted from clear glass, so it both directs the light of the 40W bulb (sold separately) downward and throughout your space. And since it's rated for damp spaces, this fixture can withstand indirect moisture, like steam.

These lights are beautiful and strudy. I am taking one star off because they are more gold than bronze and don't match the bronze mirror as well as I would have liked.. Suzanne. Fulton, MD. Wed Nov 16 2022

Sconces are a throwback that remains vital in thoughtful design. Whether entertaining friends or staying in and catching up on “you-time,” sconces set to a dimmer switch allow you to master the mood. Use them to playfully add personality to the space, taking it from functional to optimal along the way. Sconces should always be wired to a dimmer switch.

This sconce includes a globe-shaped filament bulb that echoes the silhouette of its smoked glass shade. Built from steel with a matte black finish, its arched arm + circular backplate round out the vintage industrial-inspired look. Hardwire this fixture – or simply plug in the fabric-covered cord.

These lights are beautiful. I love that you can hardwire then in or plug in. We wanted something different and love the smoke glass look. However, the sticker ripped off the Smokey effect once we removed it. Not sure why they placed it on the glass instead of the frame but it took it right off. We turned the globes around so that it was not as visible. Other than that we are in love with them.. Tianna. GA. Thu Feb 06 2020
