The Overton 1 wall sconce by AllModern features a classic gooseneck design with a black finish and black drum shaped fabric shade. The two in one design of this wall sconce allows you to install it as a plug in so you can move it easily or hardwire in place for a long lasting look.

This sconce is really elegant and well priced. I love that the switch is positioned in a hidden but convenient spot, and the swing arm is smooth. The whole thing feels sturdy and looks great and lights up my reading corner. I will say that installing is sort of annoying, since you need the wall screws to be VERY close to the wall so the weight of the arm doesn’t shift the whole light. The included wall anchors are also pretty bad - I used my own. If you use the included ones you need a 3/16 drill bit for the anchors, wish the directions said that.. Sara. Mishawaka, IN. This fixture was exactly what I was looking for as far as look style. I am totally please with this light fixture. I had a little difficulty aligning the screws for the back plate but with just a little time and energy, it worked out well.. Peter. GA. Wed Dec 02 2020

Brushed Nickel

An updated take on retro style, this 4-light wall sconce lets you see your home in a literal new light. Crafted from metal, it features a circular backplate that supports its offset cylindrical for an asymmetric retro look. A bright metallic finish covers the fixture, both playing with light and leaning into the luxe silhouette. Exposed 60W bulbs (not included) sit at both ends of each arm, delivering plenty of light despite the low-impact footprint. And since it's rated for damp spaces, it can withstand indirect moisture, like steam.

I love, love, love this modern sconce. It’s sleek and sophisticated and yet subtle….not all “ in your face.” Now, having said that, the light is quite bright with no shade, so make good use of that dimmer, if you need to.. Barbara. Woodridge, IL. Sun Oct 20 2024

This sconce includes a globe-shaped filament bulb that echoes the silhouette of its smoked glass shade. Built from steel with a matte black finish, its arched arm + circular backplate round out the vintage industrial-inspired look. Hardwire this fixture – or simply plug in the fabric-covered cord.

These lights are beautiful. I love that you can hardwire then in or plug in. We wanted something different and love the smoke glass look. However, the sticker ripped off the Smokey effect once we removed it. Not sure why they placed it on the glass instead of the frame but it took it right off. We turned the globes around so that it was not as visible. Other than that we are in love with them.. Tianna. GA. Thu Feb 06 2020

Metallic Black/Matte Yellow

It's all about ambiance. This dimmable LED flush mounted sconce adds a sleek and modern touch to any space. With integrated LED technology, it's energy efficient and long-lasting, providing up to 50,000 hours of illumination. Perfect for dry locations and can be hardwired or plugged in.

These lights are great, especially for awkward places. I installed them in multiple locations where the ceiling is on an angle. You can adjust the light so that it shines exactly where you want. There is no other version of this type of light out there. Very cool and practical. Darlene. Brooklyn, NY. Tue Jul 31 2018

Aged Brass

Spanish alabaster from the quarry of Aragon has long been considered an ideal substance for sculpture. Used in religious statuary and by prosperous families of Renaissance Spain, the material is richly veined and pleasantly porous. Due to the amount of light it lets through, it was often used for windows. We took note. In our Skylar family, we mount a slab of Spanish alabaster with thin metal clasps over an LED lamp. As the light pours through it, it creates a beautiful effect. <br />
