Thankfully, these worked perfectly! I was pleased with the color of the metal(nice soft gold) and that all the screws lined up fairly easily during Instal. I also find that the best e12 bulbs for these are frosted ones without the candle like wisp on the end. Clear filament bulbs(which I know are all the rage right now) produce a starburst effect on the globe and the candle like bulbs with the wisp at the end are too long so the globe won’t twist all the way to the end. Also note that it states to use 40w bulbs which aren’t very bright so you may not want to use these where you need more light. These are great! We have tongue and groove ceilings with no light fixtures in our bedrooms. We didn’t want to disrupt the look of the ceilings so we installed one of these on the main wall of each bedroom. They are awesome! They look great as a standalone fixtures, are bright but not blinding, and have a versatile look. We were worried about the fake wood grain look clashing with our wood ceilings and floors but they don’t at all. They look really nice and were a great price. The lights look great and we love them, however, there are a few things that aren’t visible in the stock photos I’ll point out that. First, they have a bit of a textured finish to them which you can’t really discern in the photos. It’s not bad, but unfortunately it doesn’t match the other fixtures in the bathroom that we have them in. Secondly, there are some white ‘bumpers’ to protect the glass globe sandwiched between the globe and the metal housing.
