The Orbel collection by Visual Comfort Modern is inspired by mid-century modern art with contrasting geometric shapes. The wall sconce features an elongated metal rectangle that supports a frosted sphere of light. Designed at 12.9" high, the wall sconce is a beautiful fixture to line your hallways or illuminate any room setting. Coordinate your design with other institutions in this collection, such as the flush mount, bath light, and pendants. Lamping options are compatible with most dimmers.

We loved the look of these, but they were a bit too large in proportion to our space. Otherwise very high quality lighting. Alice. Sat Aug 29 2026

This wall sconce brings together warmth + structure in a quietly refined design. A ribbed cotton shade floats above a slim brass frame anchored by a wooden arm, creating a play between texture + tone. The result feels thoughtful + grounded – a sculptural accent that casts soft, ambient light wherever it’s placed.

Oil Rubbed Bronze

This sconce blends pared-back lines inspired by vintage industrial fixtures with the soft curves of its arched arm, circular backplate, and dome-shaped shade. It’s built from stainless steel in a neutral finish and includes a cover for the cord that you simply plug in – no electrician required.

I would give this product 5 stars except the 12” length of the matching metal cord cover leaves a lot of the cord exposed. This is not clear from the picture of the product. It looks odd with only 12” of the cord covered. The sconce is great but the cord cover needs to be longer or have the option to add more coverage. Otherwise the quality and look of this sconce is excellent value for the price.. Sandra. Philadelphia, PA. Sun Mar 10 2024

This sconce includes a globe-shaped filament bulb that echoes the silhouette of its smoked glass shade. Built from steel with a matte black finish, its arched arm + circular backplate round out the vintage industrial-inspired look. Hardwire this fixture – or simply plug in the fabric-covered cord.

These lights are beautiful. I love that you can hardwire then in or plug in. We wanted something different and love the smoke glass look. However, the sticker ripped off the Smokey effect once we removed it. Not sure why they placed it on the glass instead of the frame but it took it right off. We turned the globes around so that it was not as visible. Other than that we are in love with them.. Tianna. GA. Thu Feb 06 2020

Spanish alabaster from the quarry of Aragon has long been considered an ideal substance for sculpture. Used in religious statuary and by prosperous families of Renaissance Spain, the material is richly veined and pleasantly porous. Due to the amount of light it lets through, it was often used for windows. We took note. In our Skylar family, we mount a slab of Spanish alabaster with thin metal clasps over an LED lamp. As the light pours through it, it creates a beautiful effect. <br />
