Theses are gorgeous fixtures, we have 2 over half of a 10’ length of island, (the other half has a skylight over it). They provide more than enough light, spaced about 18” apart and suspended about 30” above a 36” high countertop. We have 100 watt equivalent LED lamps inside. The fixtures have a cap that is on the top, essentially covering about 20% of the globe, but the overall effect is a nice glow on the walls and ceiling, exactly what we were hoping for. Very interesting design. Goes nicely with my remodeled dining/living room. The brightness of light emitted is not as bright as anticipated although 4800 Lumens brightness was mentioned in listing specifications.
