One of my favorite light fixtures in the house!!! I love the combination of brass/black, and how simple this fixture is, yet far from basic. This pendant is hanging at the entrance of my house. Theses are gorgeous fixtures, we have 2 over half of a 10’ length of island, (the other half has a skylight over it). They provide more than enough light, spaced about 18” apart and suspended about 30” above a 36” high countertop. We have 100 watt equivalent LED lamps inside. The fixtures have a cap that is on the top, essentially covering about 20% of the globe, but the overall effect is a nice glow on the walls and ceiling, exactly what we were hoping for. I chose this light because our ceilings are low in the kitchen and we needed a multi-light pendant that could hang shallow. This was perfect! My husband did the install (good thing he's handy). The most frustrating part was getting the wires tucked in and it all screwed in at the end. Once the lights were on, we realized there were a couple scratches on one of the globes - not cool. I did not like the feel of the globes. Doesn't feel like glass and it seems very delicate which scares me in case of the balls hitting each other and cracking. But after hanging it, it looks so beautiful in my foyer and just what it needed. It's hard not to like once it's hung. Also, there was a scratch on one ball.
