It's delightful, really solved that dark corner. I have the black exterior / gold interior. The gold warms up the light temperature, so the 2700K bulb has the appearance of about 2200K amber, choose your bulb temperature accordingly. They are GU10 LED bulbs as stated in other reviews. Overall, a great lamp. Sleek, modern design that take up very little real estate - can be placed anywhere. Lamp shades look and feel a bit flimsy but overall a sturdy construction. The foot switch is pretty far from the base (can be good and bad) - if you need the switch closer to lamp, you would have to somehow hide a pile of cord (I just winded it up around the lamp base. Would be nice if it had space to tuck in extra cord). Fyi, each shade comes with a plastic cover. I almost threw them out thinking they were shipping covers.
