This was quite the odyssey to get up 18 feet...but it was so worth it. Installation was a super easy step-by-step process. LOVE the fan. Super sleek and quiet with nice airflow. I will say the installation was a bit more complicated than expected. The directions are generic for all fans, so you need to make adjustments if you don't have the light fixture option. Also, it was difficult to thread the wires and the pin through the down rod. Lots of compliments on this fan. I replaced one of those big bulky fans with the dated bell lamps.
