This is a great and stylish light for a good price! However it was very difficult to install simply because the wiring is all the same color clear plastic. You will have to split the plastic sleeve to separate the negative wire from the positive, then strip them, then use the very subtle ridges on the plastic casing to determine which is which. This is not in the instructions you’ll have to look it up. Some positives is that it comes with multiple lengths of pole covering so you can customize how low you want it to hang. These lights are absolutely gorgeous! I rated them 4 starts instead of 5 because when we were considering purchasing, I contacted All Modern via chat and asked two different representatives if they were dimmable. They both said yes. I kept screenshots of the chat just in case. Being able to dim or not dim was a deal breaker for us when purchasing lights. We have a whole home automation system that controls and sets lighting scenes. These arrived, our electrician installed them, and we discovered they are NOT dimmable. I love the look so much and since we paid to have them installed, we kept them. They are super sleek and modern and I recommend them as long as you don't care about the lights not being dimmable. Since they are part of our lighting automation the lights go wonky and flash when a new lighting scene changes every night. So we have to manually adjust each time.. Craig.
