The light fixture is beautiful and modern. It gives off a good amount of light. It was easy to install. The only issue we had was that the pegs were shorter than the fixture that was in place before and now the fixture is a bit loose because it cannot be tightened all the way into the socket. A little smaller profile than I expected, but still looks nice in a midsized bedroom. I really like the minimalist but still stylized design, and with a nice yellow bulb, my room is nice and cozy. The Helmes one-light flush fixture is an industrial yet minimalist design, making this fixture perfect for an eclectic living room or over a modern dining room table. Milk glass gives the Helmes series a more current look.

Inspired by mid-century designs, this flush mount light draws on its statement shade to wash your space in retro style. The shade is crafted from glossy opal glass, so it ambiently diffuses the light of the two 40W bulbs (sold separately) throughout your space. This fixture is rated for damp spaces, and measures 11'' in diameter, so it's sized to fit most entryways, hallways, or even bathrooms.
The light arrived in a timely manner and is exactly as pictured. The shade's milky nature means that you should avoid any 'soft light' light bulbs if you actually want to see anything.
